Evaluating
Finally we are going to evaluate what you've learned so far. I could make a lot of questions and you'd probably get them right, but that doesn't mean you can play, and making music is our objective here. So, I'm going to purpose you a test that is really going to make you study.
It's time for you to play the Bass Hero. You are going to study the tune you've learned and will have to create a solo. That's right a bass solo!
I'm not saying you need to play notes on the speed of light and show the world how virtuous you are. As I said before the objective here is to make music.
So, you're going to compose, record and write some lines for the music Unnamed Rhyme that you played on the exercises section. Listening to the recording should give you a clear picture on your present skills.
Try to listen if you explored different rhythms and scales, if you respect the beat and, finally, on how clear is the sound you are playing.
Just to make your life easier.
Here are some tips:
- The main scale you're using is the Em - any note outside that scale may be used with carefull.
- The base line also use: Am, D, Bm. You will see it on the music score.
- Be creative - If you think it sounds good use it!
Enjoy!
